Located just 20 minutes from Malaga international airport is the
hugely popular resort of Benalmadena. With so much to offer
including the lively luxurious Port, Paloma park, Tivoli World
amusement park and the famous Sea life center it is easy to
see why this well known town is popular with both tourists and
ex pats.

Benalmadena has a vast array of bars and restaurants offering
international cuisine from all around the world. There is also the
well known 24 hour square which, as the name suggests stays
open 24 hours a day.

Benalmadena has an official population of 30,000 but this
number grows to 100,000 during the busy summer months.

Benalmadena is made up of three different areas:

Arroyo de La Miel
Is best known for it's busy industrial area which is home to many
local businesses due to it's proximity to road and rail links.

Benalmadena Pueblo
Is the old part of the town where you can still find narrow streets
and traditional andalucian style houses but is undergoing
significant construction works, with newer style houses being
constructed by the dozens. There are a large number of British
ex pats living in the pueblo.

Benalmadena Costa
This is where you will find the many hotels, beaches, bars and
restaurants which attracts tourists in their thousands. Other
attractions are
Tivoli world,
Cable car rides, Selwo Marina, Sea Life center and
Paloma Park.

The Marina Port is also a great place to visit to look at the huge
yachts and enjoy a drink or a meal in one of the many bustly
bars or restaurants.
